Vijay Antony will also be joining the Deepavali race with the release of his next film, Thimiru Pudichavan. A cop film, it has Nivetha Pethuraj playing the female lead, and Ganeshaa helming it.

According to sources, it is expected to be a high-octane action entertainer. Following the debacle of Annadurai and Kaali, Antony has bet big on Thimiru Pudichavan.
