The me-too movement is getting louder and louder in India with several women coming out in open alleging sexual harassment abuse in open.
Yesterday a series of tweets by a journalist kicked up a storm in Tamil cinema. She tweeted screenshots from a girl who doesn’t want to be named alleging National award winning lyricist Vairamuthu misbehaved few years ago with her. She expressed in detail how Vairamuthu tried to misbehave with her.
This morning another woman came up with a similar charge on Vairamuthu. Interestingly popular singer Chinmayee tweeted them and said such men must be unmasked.
However Vairamuthu is tight-lipped on the allegations.
