Arjun Reddy fame Vijay Devarkonda plays the lead in NOTA, a bilingual being made in Tamil and Telugu. Directed by Arima Nambi fame Anand Shankar and produced by Studio Green, it has Sathyaraj in an important role. Music is by Sam CS. NOTA will release 5 October.
Speaking about the film, Anand Shankar says, ‘As the title suggests, it is a political story. Unlike my earlier venture, there is an element of drama in the movie. I thought Vijay Devarkonda, the up-and-coming actor in Telugu would be the right choice to do in both languages. I was impressed watching his performance on Pelli Chupplu and Arjun Reddy’.
He heard the entire story and was mightily impressed. He has got under the skin of the character to deliver a stunning show. Sathyaraj had some hesitation when approached. Again impressed by the script, he agreed to work.
