Come January 2019, Ilayaraja will render a mega music concert live concert in Chennai. Organized by Tamil Film Producers Council, it is being held to celebrate 75 years of maestro.
Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) chief Vishal and office-bearers of the association met Ilayaraja personally and urged him to perform a live show in city.
The most prolific composer, he has composed over 7000 songs, provided film scores for more than 1000 movies and performed in more than 20,000 concerts.
Ilayaraja started his career with Annakili and went on to score music for all top filmmakers, producers and actors over three decades. He has won many awards and accolades.
