Actor Bobby Simha of Jigarthanda fame is all set to play the role of slain LTTE chief Prahakaran. The movie would be directed by Venkatesh Kumar, who made Neelam, a movie on Lankan issue that was banned by the Censors.

National award winner Bobby Simha apparently agreed to the do the movie inspired by Venkatesh’s narration. It has been tentatively titled The Raging Tiger. Sources say that the actor’s uncanny resemblance to the slain Sri Lankan Tamil leader fetched him the role.

The movie is said to chronicle the life and times of Prabhakaran from his birth till his rise as a militant leader.
