Acclaimed filmmaker Bharathiraja was in Sri Lanka recently where he snubbed a journalist when he was asked about #MeYoo controversy.
Addressing media persona, Bharathiraja got angry when a journalist asked him about allegations on lyricist Vairamuthu by singer Chinmaye.
An agitated Bharathiraja left the press conference mid way and in return questioned the scribe about what MeToo is and why is he asking about it he in turn poured angry words and asked the journalist to show evidence for the allegations.
Many in social media condemned Bharathiraja for his act.
