Amidst complaints of plagiarism for Vijay starrer Sarkar, one Anbu Rajasekar today filed a petition with Tamil Film Producers Council president Vishal seeking to ban the release of Sarkar.

In his petition, Anbu Rajasekar said, ‘My story Thyaga Bhoomi was lifted and made as Kaththi by Murugadoss. The case is pending with courts. In such a scenario, another person has charged him of plagiarism for Sarkar.

He claimed to Be his story. bince there are lot of controversies involved. Hence the movie should be banned by Producers Council’.

Sarkar is directed by A R Murugadoss. It stars Vijay, Keerthy Suresh, Radha Ravi, Varalaxmi, Pazha Karuppiah among others. Music is by A R Rahman. The movie has been censored with UA certificate and ready for release this Deepavali.

Vijay’s last was Mersal directed by Atlee. Even it saw plagiarism complaints.
