‘Dhanush is a great entertainer and a wonderful performer’, says filmmaker Vettrimaran.
The national award winning filmmaker joins hands with Dhanush for Vada Chennai which will hit the screens 17 October. Besides Dhanush, the movie stars Aishwarya Rakesh, Andrea, Samuthirakani, Ameer, Daniel Balaji, Pavan among others. Music is by Santosh Narayanan.
Speaking about the film, Vettrimaran, said, ‘In the film, Dhanush has three different transitions and pulled it off with a great ease. Working with the likes of Ameer and Samuthirakani was a comfort for me. They keenly observed the flaws on the shooting spot, corrected themselves and also helped each other’.
He said, ‘Though I planned to start the movie initially with Simbu, it could not take off then. I am happy to have had Dhanush playing the lead and everything has come good’.
