Sarkar story: A lot has been written about plagiarism in Tamil cinema and much recently about AR Murugadoss and Sarkar. One Rajendran came up with a complaint that his Sengol story has been plagiarized as Sarkar by A R Murugadoss starring Vijay in the lead.
The issue took a turn when the president of South Indian Film Writers Association said both the stories have similarities. Rajendran even filed a case against Murugadoss in High Court. The next hearing is on 30 October.
However when Murugadoss queried said that the story is not plagiarized and it is his. He said that he is ready to prove it the court. Buzz is that Murugadoss wrote it keeping in mind a real-life incident.
He also said that he doesn’t want to involve Vijay and never spoke with him about the issue.
Directed by Murugadoss, the movie is produced by Sun Pictures. Keerthy Suresh plays the heroine. The cast includes Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Radharavi, Pazha Karuppiah and Yogi Babu among others.
Music is by AR Rahman and songs are penned by Vivek. The movie releasing this Deepavali.
