MeToo: Following sexual harassment complaint against actor Arjun by actress Sruthi Hariharan while acting in Nibunan, Bengaluru police have filed cases under several sections today.
Sources say Sruthi filed a complaint against Arjun. Sruthi Hariharan accused in social media page that Arjun misbehaved with her on the sets of Nibunan.
Arjun reportedly filed a defamation case against Sruthi Hariharan in Bengaluru. Nibunan’s director Arun has also expressed his shock on hearing the incident.
With several complaints surfacing from women celebrities on #MeToo movement, many names of actors and producers are doing rounds.
Remember Chinmayee had alleged lyricist Vairamuthu of trying to misbehave with her. Also Carnatic musicians were blamed for misbehaving.
The highlight is Union Minister M J Akbar was forced to resign after a slew of such charges were made against him.
The likes of singer Karthik, actor -producer Thyagarajan and actor John Vijay were also accused of sexual harassment.
