Quite like its first trailer, the second trailer of Chekka Chivandha Vaanam that was out today is filled with action. Scenes involving Arvind Swami, Vijay Sethupathi, Simbu and Arun Vijay find a pace in the trailer.
Jyothika, Aishwarya Rajesh, Dayana Erappa, Prakjashraj and Jayasudha are also in the cast. Music is by A R Rahman and cinematography by Santosh Sivan.
Produced by Lyca International and Madras Talkies, CCV is all set for release 27 September. Mani Ratnam’s last was Kattru Veliyidai which saw an average response at the box office.
Sources say that the story is modern version of Ponniyin Selvan. Mani Ratnam has reworked the story to suit modem audience.
