The title row for Thuppaki still continues. It remains unresolved for over a month. Thuppaki has been running into some trouble or the other. A case against the title of the movioe was filed by the makers of another film titled Kallaa Thuppaki.
The interim stay order was granted recently by a courty on using Thuppaki title and it has been extended till 1 August, sources said.
It is said that the court wants to hear the Film Chamber's view before taking a final decision on this. The Film chamber is responsible for registering new titles and they had asked for more time to respond. Hence the delay.
It is a rather unexpectedly long wait for Vijay fans as it has been a while since his film hit theatres and there were lot of hopes about his joining hands with a reputed director like Murugadoss.
