Friday ( July 13) marked the first anniversary of Super Star Rajnikanth's return from Singapore after recovering well from treatment in SIngapore.
To mark the first anniversary of the return, fans performed special pujas and undertook annadhanam at various temples, churches and mosques like Thiruverkadu, Velainkanni, Nagerkovil and Chidambaram.
Some even tonsured their heads Friday at various shrines.
It was as if the whole world was praying for one person,' said Lata Rajnikanth.
A fit Rajnikanth is now acting in Kochadaiyaan, being directed by his daughter Soundarya Rajnikanth. The shooting for the movie is completed and post production works are on.
Kochadaiyaan will release this year-end.
