Atharvaa started his career as actor with Baana Kathadi. After doing a few films establishing him as a wonderful performer, he has rejoined with Badri venkatesh, who directed him in Baana Kathadi.

Interestingly their Semma Bodha Aagathey is all the more special for it is bankrolled by Atharvaa himself. A dark comedy, it is light-hearted and entertaining. There are twists and turns to keep the audience glued.

Semma Botha Aagatha Review

Anaika Soti and Misti play heroines, while Karunakaran takes care of comedy. Manobala, Devadarshini and Chetan play key roles in the film.

The movie has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by Gopi Amarnath and editing by Praveen KL.

The movie speaks is all but fun and laughter. But there is couple of subplots that makes it interesting.

Ramesh (Atharvaa), after he estranges from a breaking up with his girlfriend, gets drunk and decides to call in a sex worker (Anaika Soti). However this lands him in a lot of problems. He is confused and clueless of what to do next.

The time comes for him to go back to his roots and find out the problems and also solutions for it.

The movie has enough scope for Atharvaa and he manages to excel.

Semma Botha Aagatha Tamil Review

His body language and dialogue delivery are excellent. His emotions add value to the story. Watch out for Anaika soti. The young actress does give a powerful performance and excel in frames whenever she appears. Misti too is not far behind. Karunakaran with his one-liners brings the roof down with laughter.

The first half is tad slow, but the pace is picked up as it enters second half. Badri Venkatesh has managed an engrossing fare thanks to Atharvaa's screen presence.

Verdict : Semma Botha Aagatha - Cocktail of fun
