Arya is in his familiar territory. Comedy always comes good for him. The actor who rendered hits including Boss Engira Baskaran is back with a light-hearted fare in Ghajinikanth.

Interestingly thesis a family entertainment directed by Santosh P Jayakumar, who made adult comedy like Hara Hara Mahadevaki and Iruttu Arayil Murattu Kuthu. Produced by Studio Green, the movie is inspired by blockbuster Telugu hit Bhale Bhale Magadivoi.

Ghajinikanth English Review

Arya reprises the role enacted by Nani. Sayeesha Sehgal plays heroine.

The movie speaks about how forgetful Rajinikanth (Arya) is and how life changes after his wedding with heroine Sayeesha. The trouble begins now as she doesn’t know that he forget tings often.

Arya does a wonderful act. He is at his best in comical sequences. He carries the good form of Boss Engira Baskaran.Arya is son of Aadukalam Naren, who is a die-hard fan of Rajinikanth.Though he is named Rajinikanth, Arya suffers forgetfulness and hence people call him Ghajinikanth.

Ghajinikanth Review

He comes across young and innocent girl Sayeesha. The girl doesn’t even realize his forgetfulness because he manages to cover up so tactfully.

Meanwhile Sayeesha's father Sampath comes to know about Arya and his problem. The rest is all but how Arya with the help of his friends Sathish and Karunakaran wins the heart of Sayeesha and convinces her dad.

Sayeesha is the toast of Tamil cinema. After a good show inKadaikutty Singam, she comes up with a good show in Ghajinikanth. She emotes well and dances to perfection.Sampath, Aadukalam Naren, Uma Padnabhaban does a good act.

Karunakaran and Motta Rajendran evoke laughter but Sathish steals the show. It is an engaging entertainer with enough reference from Rajini movies. There is sequence resembling Vasoolraja too.

Ghajinikanth provides a hearty laugh is a time pass entertainer.

Verdict : Ghajinikanth - Laughter, the best medicine
